Virtual Legal Officers (VLOs) are individuals with a diverse background spanning key areas such as legal, corporate, business, finance, and Web3. They are trained professionals who manage multi-disciplinary teams working on cross-border legal projects.

VLOs serve as legal project managers, helping clients manage their legal tasks and explore possible legal options. However, it's important to note that they do not provide legal services in the form of legal consultations or opinions. Instead, VLOs can provide valuable assistance by preparing documents, conducting research on legal options, and coordinating with specialized legal professionals when needed.

The key benefits of having a Virtual Legal Officer

  • VLOs act as legal project managers and quality assurance specialists, helping you manage legal tasks and explore options.

  • They source the best professionals for each task and consultation, ensuring expertise for your specific needs.

  • VLOs serve as a single point of contact, streamlining communication across multiple experts working on your projects.

  • With their support, you can easily stay on top of all your legal matters and make informed decisions.

Paying for VLO support with credits

Clients pay for VLO support using Legal Nodes' credit system. This allows for flexible and efficient access to VLO support as needed.

For more information, read about how to use credits.

How to contact your VLO

When you need to reach out to your Virtual Legal Officer, there are two primary methods of communication available:

  • Use the chat feature in your Legal Nodes account: This is the quickest way to send messages and questions to your VLO. VLOs have a response time of 24 hours, so if you don’t hear back from your VLO quickly, please allow 24 hours for them to reply.

  • Schedule a call: If you need a more in-depth discussion, you can set up a call with your VLO through the platform.

It's important to note that all communication with your VLO must remain on the Legal Nodes platform or via approved channels. For your security and to maintain proper records, please do not attempt to contact VLOs via email or any other external method.

By keeping all interactions within the Legal Nodes ecosystem, we ensure efficient, secure, and traceable communication for all your legal project needs.

Important Note: The information provided on this page is applicable to clients on our latest plans. If you started a plan with Legal Nodes before September 2024, please contact your VLO for support via your Legal Nodes account or email help@legalnodes.com for assistance tailored to your specific plan.
