This article explains the features of the new LegalOn. For information on the current version’s product features, please refer to this page.

This section explains the elements of the Home page and specifies which features are available to each user type.


Elements of the Home page

The LegalOn Home page contains LegalOn Assistant, Shortcuts, Global Menu, and Notifications Side Panel. The menus and shortcuts you see vary depending on your subscription and user type.

LegalOn Assistant

To use LegalOn Assistant, enter your question and click the Send button to switch to full-screen mode. You can ask questions, start tasks, upload documents, and receive review-ready results, directly from the Home page.

💡Info:

This is visible only to users with a LegalOn Assistant: Pro/Standard license.

Shortcuts

Shortcuts provide one-click access to key features or tasks, such as reviewing contracts, managing playbooks, or drafting from templates. The shortcuts displayed vary depending on the licenses included in your contract.

Global menu

The Global Menu provides access to various features.

  • Help content and various Settings pages are now under "More".

*1 Only Module Administrators of tenants with the Matter Management module can view and use this.

Notifications Side Panel

This panel is only visible to Matter Management and Contract Management users. Click the Notifications button to open the side panel. Toggle between the Overview tab, which shows the number of ongoing matters and contracts that need attention, and the Activity tab, which displays messages about new matters, review comments, and more.

Overview Tab

This tab allows you to review matters and contracts that require your attention.

Click each item to open the related list screen.

Displays the number of matters where:

• You are the matter assignee

• Status is other than “Completed”

• Categorized by: Due in 3 days, due today and overdue.

Matter Management: Pro

Contracts

All Contracts

Displays the number of executed contracts with “Active” status where:

• You have at least “Viewer” access

• Renewal rejection deadline is within 60 days with Auto-renewal set to “Yes”

- or -

• Contract end date is within 60 days with Auto-renewal set to “No”

To setup contract renewal reminders, refer to “Track renewal deadlines for auto-renew contracts

Displays the number of executed contracts with “Active” status where:

• You are the assignee

• You have at least “Viewer” access

Activity Tab

Notifications related to matters, such as mentions and comments are displayed here. You can switch between “Unread” and “All” to view the notifications.

  • You can hide "Incident information" and "Important announcements" by clicking the [×] on the right side.
