[New] How to add, edit, and delete Matter statuses

Create a new Matter status

Matter statuses are categorized as "Not Started," "In Progress," and "Completed." Module Administrators can add new statuses to the "In Progress" category.

* You can add a maximum of 10 matter statuses.

  1. Go to [Module settings] > [Matter Management] > [Status].

  2. In the "In Progress" category, click [+ Add status].

  3. Enter the matter status name (up to 20 characters) and click [Add].

Edit a Matter status

You can edit the labels for "Not Started," "Completed," and any statuses you've added to "In Progress."

  1. Click [...] > [Edit] next to the matter status you want to edit.

  2. Modify the matter status name and click [Save].

Delete a Matter status

  1. Click [...] > [Delete] next to the matter status you want to delete.

  2. Confirm the message and click [Delete].

⚠️ Notes

  • You cannot delete the "Not Started" or "Completed" statuses.

  • Once a matter status is deleted, it cannot be restored.

  • You cannot delete a status if it's currently in use by any matters. You must change the status of those matters to a different one before deleting.
