How to convert a PDF to Word
Open the [Contracts] list in LegalOn.
Click on the PDF file you want to convert.
In the File detail view, click [Convert to Word] at the top right.
Read the confirmation message and click [Convert].
✅ A message will confirm: “Converted to Word.”
The screen will switch to the new Word file’s detail view, which is uploaded as the latest version of the original PDF.
Best Practices
Do not refresh, go back, or close your browser during the conversion.
Converted files are added to the version history of the original PDF.
