This article explains how to combine two separate matters into one.
About merging matters
Sometimes, the same request can get registered as multiple separate matters. For example, if a conversation splits into different email threads. When this happens, you can merge the two matters to keep all the information in one place.
Once merged, the timelines of both matters are combined in chronological order, making it easy to view and manage all your conversations in one thread.
When merging, you will select the two matters and choose which one you want to keep. The timeline information will combine into the kept matter, and the other matter will be deleted.
