Purpose
The goal of this article is to show users how to search for clauses in LegalOn.
The "Search for clauses" feature allows you to search for keywords or specific clauses in uploaded documents conveniently from your Dashboard.
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to use this feature:
Step 1
Click on "Search for clauses" under the navigation bar, which brings you to the following screen.
Step 2
Then, type keywords or phases into the search bar.
You can use quotation marks (e.g., "Receiving Party") for exact matches.
Step 3
Once you have the preliminary search results, you can then filter based on the following criteria:
Only display latest version
Filter for file name, contract title, or party name
Filter by the person who uploaded the document
Status
Upload date

Note: Clicking on the article link (see screenshot below) will bring you to the corresponding Preview page, where you can edit contract title / party name, tag a colleague to collaborate, and review the contract. Read more in "How to Preview documents"
