How to Get More Reviews

Reviews are one of the most powerful ways to build trust with potential clients. When someone is choosing a coach, they’re looking for signs that you’re credible, effective, and supportive. Reviews provide social proof and significantly increase the likelihood that someone will book a session with you.

Building strong reviews comes from two things: delivering a great coaching experience and asking for feedback consistently.

1. Deliver an Exceptional Coaching Experience

Great reviews start with great coaching.

Focus on:

  • Listening closely to each client’s goals and tailoring your approach

  • Keeping sessions structured and purposeful

  • Celebrating progress and reinforcing momentum

  • Being consistent and reliable in your communication and follow-through

When clients feel supported and see real improvement, they naturally want to share their experience.

2. Ask for Reviews Using the Reviews Tab

Most people want to support you — they just need a prompt.

Make asking for reviews part of your regular coaching workflow:

  1. Go to the Reviews tab in your coach dashboard

  2. Select the client

  3. Send the review request

The best time to ask is:

  • After a strong session

  • After a milestone or breakthrough moment

  • When wrapping up a package or engagement

A simple message works perfectly:

“Loved working with you today! If you’d be open to leaving a quick review on my profile, it helps others know what to expect when working together.”

Small, consistent requests are more effective than occasionally asking a large group.

3. Host Free Events to Expand Reach and Generate Reviews

Free events are one of the fastest ways to introduce your coaching style to new people — and they create a natural opportunity to ask for reviews.

After your event:

  • Thank everyone for attending

  • Share the link to your profile

  • Invite them to leave a short review about what they learned or found helpful

This is especially powerful because it builds social proof before someone becomes a 1:1 client.

Example follow-up message:

Thanks so much for joining today! If the session was helpful, I’d really appreciate a quick review on my profile — it helps others know what to expect and supports my coaching business.

Even a few reviews per event add up quickly over time.

4. Make It Easy for Clients to Write the Review

Some clients hesitate because they’re unsure what to say. You can reduce friction by giving gentle prompts, such as:

Feel free to mention what we worked on and what you found most helpful — it doesn’t need to be long.

This keeps the experience comfortable and authentic.

In Summary

To consistently grow your reviews:

  • Deliver a great coaching experience that feels clear, supportive, and effective

  • Ask for reviews regularly using the Reviews tab

  • Host free events and follow up afterward with a gentle request

  • Make it easy for clients by keeping the tone casual and simple

The coaches who grow strong review profiles don’t just hope clients leave reviews — they build it into their rhythm. Small, steady efforts compound into powerful credibility over time.
