Why have I received a Notice of Default (NOD)? What can I do next?

We have sent you a Notice of Default because you have missed several loan repayments.

What does this notice include?

  • The amount you need to pay.

  • The date by which you must pay to stop your loan from being formally defaulted.

Important Points:

  • Any arrangements or solutions we put in place to help may be recorded on your credit file and could impact your credit score.

  • If you do not contact us or take action by the date specified, your loan may be defaulted, and further action could be taken.

  • A default will be added to your credit file and will stay there for 6 years. This may affect your ability to get credit in future.
