There are 2 ways to set up Brokerage accounts in Loanapp.

1. Brokerages can be entered one at a time.

2. Brokerages can be entered in bulk using the template provided.

NB: Brokerages MUST be set up before Brokers. This allows you to link the Broker to the Brokerage afterwards.

Option 2 - Bulk Upload Brokerages

Log into your lender Loanapp.

Select the Brokerage tab on the right.

Then select Download Template.

Notice that an Import Brokerage Template has downloaded onto your computer.

Open and edit the file, paying special attention to the green* mandatory fields.

Once the file had been edited, select Import Template.

An Import Brokerages pop up window appears.

Select Choose file and select the blue Upload button.

If there is an error with the upload, the process will stop at the point at which a problem was encountered. This is usually a data error with spaces in fields or duplicate email addresses.

At this point, you are able to select View Error Log and it will display the required fields.

Fix any errors and then select Go to Upload.

Once the file has been successfully uploaded, select Close.

Now that a Brokerage has been created, individuals Brokers can be created under that Brokerage.
