Introducing Flow State, Leonardo.Ai's image generation feature for ideation on demand. Flow State streamlines your creative workflow by allowing for more creative discovery. By generating images in an stream, you get to discover a wider variety of possibilities, and then narrowing it down by iterations to get your desired results.
About Flow State
Creative Discovery: Simply prompt and then press generate, then scroll to ideate more. See an image you like? Simply click on the More Like This button to generate more images that are style variations of the original image.
Flow State allows you to generate a large amount of images in an whole new way. Free users can keep track of their daily limit with the percentage wheel at the top right of the page, or enable the 'Scroll to Generate' toggle for a few images at a time.
Style Control: Select up to 4 types of Style choices - Vibe, Lighting, Shot Type and Color Theme, or simply have them randomized for even more creative options.
How to use Flow State
From the home page, choose Flow State from below the prompt bar (A) or the left side bar.
2. Describe your idea in the prompt bar, and click Generate if you're open to any creative possibilities.
3. Optional: If you want more control, have a specific idea or a want to experiment with creative options, head to the Style section of the side bar.
Here, you'll find options to choose a Vibe, lighting, Shot Type or Colour theme to guide your generations
Once generating, a stream of images will rapidly appear and you can scroll through them until you find one that’s aligned with your vision.
Important:
Toggle Scroll to Generate ON to limit the amount of images generated to 8 at a time. Flow State costs 1 token per image generated, so it's a great way to ideate and experiment while being token-conscious.
If you update any image settings or the prompt, the stream will start again. We recommend hovering over any images you like and hitting Save so they appear in your Library and can be used for future ideation.
Hone in using the More Like This button
If you see an image you like and want more variations that look stylistically similar, simply click on the More Like This button. This will generate an new stream of images using Style settings based on the selected image.
Clicking More Like This again will generate an even more similar looking stream of images, letting you choose your ideal image.
Note: You can navigate back to the previous stages by clicking on the various stages displayed below the prompt bar.

Flow State is an rapid ideation tool that allows you to generate images in large amounts, and then narrowing down your preferred visuals by means of creating variations based on the style of the selected image. Flow State also includes unique Style presets that are unavailable in Image Generation mode.
Image Generation mode allows you to generate high quality images in batches using various finetuned models and provides additional options to control the look of your images with the various Image Guidance options and Elements.

The token cost is per generated image that appears on your screen. You can save and download as many generated images as you like at zero cost!

Yes. Clicking "More Like This" generates a new set of images, and each image displayed will cost 1 token. For example, if you generate 8 new images, it will cost 8 tokens.

Simply viewing, sharing or downloading previously generated images does not consume tokens.
