Introducing Flow State, Leonardo.Ai's newest image generation feature for ideation on demand. Flow State streamlines your creative workflow by allowing for more creative discovery. By generating images in an stream, you get to discover a wider variety of possibilities, and then narrowing it down by iterations to get your desired results.
About Flow State
Creative Discovery: Simply prompt and then press generate, then scroll to ideate more. See an image you like? Simply click on the More Like This button to generate more images that are style variations of the original image.
Flow State allows you to generate a large amount of images in an whole new way. For Free users, they can keep track of their daily limit with the percentage wheel at the top right of the page.
Sttyle Control: Select up to 4 types of Style choices - Vibe, Lighting, Shot Type and Color Theme, or simply have them randomized for even more diversification.
How to use Flow State
Initiate: Go to the Image Creation tool. Below the prompt bar, click on Flow State.
Prompt: Enter a prompt, alternatively you may wish to click on the examples below to utilize the sample prompts.
Style Settings: On the left sidebar, you may manually select Style presets for each of the 4 types - Vibe, Light, Shot Type and Color Theme. Note that these are randomized by default and you may select None to disable an Style type.
Additional Settings: You can select between the various available aspect ratio presets, use Prompt Enhance and also enable Private Mode to hide your saved images from the public.
Generate: After entering a prompt, click on
Generateto begin generating. Generations will fill the page and Flow State will continue to generate more as you scroll.
Important Note: Pressing the Generate button again, refreshing the page or leaving the page will clear all existing generations in Flow State.
Hone In: If you see an image you like and want more variations that look stylistically similar, simply click on the
More Like Thisbutton. This will generate an new stream of images using Style settings based on the selected image.
Note: You can navigate back to the previous stages by clicking on the various stages displayed below the prompt bar.
Save and Upscale: If an image interests you, you may opt to upscale the image by clicking on the
Upscalebutton, allowing you to upscale the image using the various upscaling features. You can also save the image by hovering your mouse over the image and then clicking on the
button in the top right.
Note: Downloading or upscaling the image will automatically save it to your Library.

What is the difference between Flow State and the normal Image Generation mode?
Flow State is an rapid ideation tool that allows you to generate images in large amounts, and then narrowing down your preferred visuals by means of creating variations based on the style of the selected image. Flow State also includes unique Style presets that are unavailable in Image Generation mode.
Image Generation mode allows you to generate high quality images in batches using various finetuned models and provides additional options to control the look of your images with the various Image Guidance options and Elements.
