Managing Message Templates

Follow this quick guide to create, edit, duplicate, search, and manage your message templates like a pro.

Message templates in Bello let you send personalized, professional messages without starting from scratch every time. Whether you’re confirming meetings or sending reminders, templates help you move fast and stay consistent.


Step 1: Go to Message Templates

From the left-hand menu, click Message Templates under the Account section.

This is your central hub for creating and managing templates.


Step 2: Create a New Template

Click the Create Template button at the top left.

Start building your message from scratch or use one as a base.


Step 3: Fill in Template Details

You’ll be asked to add:

  • A Template Name

  • A Language

  • A Subject line

  • The Message Body (where merge tags can work their magic)

Use merge tags to automatically pull in details like the project name or meeting date.

Customize your message with smart fields to personalize content instantly.


Step 4: Edit an Existing Template

To update a template, click the three-dot menu beside it and choose Edit template.

Make your changes and then hit Update Template to save them.

Quickly adjust language, tone, or content whenever you need.


Step 5: Search & Filter Templates

Use the search bar or language dropdown to find the template you need in seconds—no more endless scrolling.

Search by name or filter by language to stay organized.


Step 6: Duplicate or Delete Templates

Need to reuse a format? Click the three-dot menu and choose Duplicate template. Or if it’s time to clean house, go ahead and Delete template.

One click to reuse or remove—whatever works for your workflow.


Handy Merge Tags

Make your messages feel personal while saving time. Drop these merge tags into your message body:

Tag

What it does

{PROJECT_NAME}

Inserts the project name

{USER_NAME}

Adds the participant’s full name

{MEETING_DATE}

Displays the meeting date

{MEETING_NAME}

Adds the meeting title

💡 Merge tags update automatically based on the meeting, so you only have to write it once.
