Quick Setup Checklist
Before you join us live, do a quick ATC (Audio/Tech/Camera) check. Trust us—it saves drama later.
What you need:
A browser that behaves: Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari.
A headset with a mic (no echo, no drama).
Strong internet, no freeloading tabs hogging bandwidth.
A quiet-ish spot with good lighting (or blur your background—more on that below).

Joining from Desktop
Show up 15 minutes early—yes, really. If there's a support agent on the session, they'll help make sure your audio/video/sanity are all working great.
Click the link that ends in
/dfrom your invite.Pop in your name and email.
Give permission to your camera and mic (no permission = no interview).
Choose your audio/video setup.
Boom—you’re in the waiting room.
Hang tight in the waiting room. When we’re ready, we’ll let you in. (Camera turns on when you enter, so… be ready-ish.) If someone pings you, you’ll see a chat in the top-right corner.
🎯 Heads up: If screen sharing is needed, and you’re on mobile, we’ll prompt you to grab the Bello app.
Joining from Mobile
Mobile’s cool—just a few quirks to keep in mind.
Click your session link.
Fill out the "Welcome to Interview" screen with your name/email/optional phone.
Hit Continue = you're cool with our Privacy Policy + Terms.
Allow camera + mic access.
We’ll run a quick tech check (takes like 10 seconds).
You’ll land in the waiting room and can chat with us from there if needed.
Note: Mobile screen sharing = not a thing. Desktop-only for that magic.
Wrong Camera? No Biggie
Got more than one camera? Sometimes your browser picks the wrong one (classic). When joining:
Look for the dropdown in Device Settings and pick the right one.
Already in the room? Click the gear icon ⚙️, switch it there.
Might need to refresh after switching—don’t worry, we’ll still be here.
Pro Tips for a Smooth Interview
Use the same device and setup you used during tech check.
Restart your computer before joining to shut down bandwidth hogs.
Use Chrome (preferred), and COPY/PASTE the link from your email.
Show up 15 minutes early or follow recruiter timing.
Use a headset with a mic. Your AirPods don’t count unless they work reliably.
Close everything else—apps, tabs, background downloads.
Kick freeloaders off your Wi-Fi (looking at you, Netflix streamers).
No streaming, no downloading, no distractions.
