Need a reliable way to join your meeting when Wi-Fi isn’t on your side? Or maybe you (or a participant) just prefer the crisp clarity of a phone call. That’s where Bello’s Dial Out feature comes in. It lets participants connect audio through their phone, seamlessly switching from computer audio to a call — no fuss, no stress.

Step 1: Start the Dial Out

When you’re in a Bello meeting and you want to connect someone’s audio through their phone, look up at the top menu. You’ll see a row of icons.

Click the phone icon (it’s the third from the right). That’s your cue to start the Dial Out process. Once you do, Bello will pop a message onto the participant’s screen.

Step 2: Confirm They’re Ready

On their screen, the participant will see a friendly popup. Before anything else, Bello checks that they’re ready to get a call.

All they have to do is tick the checkbox that says:

“I am ready to receive a phone call.”

This is their way of saying, “Yep, my phone’s on and I’m good to go.”

Step 3: Enter the Phone Number

Once they’ve confirmed they’re ready, a new field appears. Here’s where the participant adds their number.

  1. Choose the country code from the dropdown (so Bello knows which part of the world to dial).

  2. Type the phone number into the box.

💡 Pro tip: Double-check the digits before moving on. Nobody wants Bello dialing your local pizza shop instead of you.

Step 4: Switch the Audio

Now comes the easy part. After entering the number, the participant just clicks “Start Dialout.”

Here’s what happens automatically:

  • Bello calls the participant’s phone.

  • Their meeting device audio gets muted (so no awkward echoes).

  • Their phone becomes the new mic and speaker for the meeting.

Smooth. Seamless. Done.

Why You’ll Love Dial Out

  • It’s reliable — When internet audio isn’t working, Dial Out always has your back.

  • It’s simple — No codes, no juggling devices. Just confirm, type, and click.

  • It’s clear — Sometimes a plain old phone call sounds better than patchy Wi-Fi.

So the next time you or a participant struggle with audio, you don’t have to panic. Just use Bello’s Dial Out feature and keep the meeting moving.

✨Bello makes switching to phone audio as easy as sending a text. You’re always just a few clicks away from a clearer conversation.
