The myth that pork is inherently bad for dogs definitely needs to be added to the Misinformation File. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, pork is an excellent ingredient for numerous reasons, including:

1. Pork is highly digestible.
2. Pork has a wonderful array of protein components.
3. Both dogs and cats love the flavor of pork.
4. Pork is not known to cause allergies in either dogs or cats.

To those who express concerns about the presence of worms in pork, be aware that all raw meat contains worms. The truth is that there are no more worms in pork than they are in beef or chicken.
