When we make your pet's food, vitamins are added separate from minerals. Most vitamins are susceptible to damage from applied heat. When a new pet food is made, the nutritionists calculate the amount of vitamins needed for that formula. Knowing that some of it will be destroyed by heat, a chemist and/or nutritionist will calculate how much should be in the finished product versus how much to put in during the cooking. Our foods are regularly tested for vitamin and other nutrient content, to ensure your dog or cat is getting the guaranteed amounts of nutrition in every serving.
