If you are currently feeding an all-kibble Life’s Abundance diet and wish to include our premium canned food in your dog's routine, use the chart below to help you calculate appropriate portions based on target calorie intake.

For example: If you are currently feeding your 30 pound dog 1 1/2 c. of All Life Stage kibble per day and would like to add one can of Turkey & Shrimp daily …

687 calories from 1 1/2 cup kibble - 142 calories from one can Turkey & Shrimp = 585 calories.   So, in this example you would need to adjust the kibble portion down to 585 calories which is slightly more than 1 1/4 cup (1 1/4 cup = 573 calories).

Therefore, we recommend that you supplement a pregnant or lactating dog’s diet with Life’s Abundance premium dry dog food. Follow the recommended feeding instructions for pregnant or nursing dogs on the bag.
