We are proud of the nutrition and quality of our premium foods and are happy to help you ensure that your dog or cat's food stays as fresh as possible after opening the bag.

Leaving the food in its original packaging at room temperature and squeezing air out before closing will keep the food fresh and avoid potential contamination from a container that may not be thoroughly cleaned.

If you prefer to use your own container, here are some suggestions:

  1. Ensure any container you use is air-tight, clean and completely dry.

  2. If your container is large enough, the best storage method is to place the entire sealed bag inside the container, and keep both the bag and the outer container closed between feedings.

  3. If you feel the need to refrigerate the food, you may safely do so. We recommend putting the kibble into multiple smaller containers or zip-top baggies, and draw from just one bag/container at a time, to maintain maximum freshness.

  4. Do not store the food in the freezer as this can lead to unwanted moisture from condensation.
