We would dearly love to be able to provide an ample stream of canned food as we’ve been done for the past decade, plus. Unfortunately, unlike our dry foods, canned food manufacturing across the nation has experienced significant challenges to their ability to meet demand.
When Will These Products be Available?
Once our current inventory of canned food is gone, we do not anticipate having any more to offer for a period of time. Though we can't predict when this will be, we definitely intend to offer our canned recipes again in the future, and we’re making progress in this direction. Like all of our foods, our canned recipes are our own unique formulations that cannot be found elsewhere.
It pains us that we’re unable to offer our canned foods to you for a period of time, but we’re not taking any shortcuts in this process because we’re committed to ensuring that the products we offer, and every step leading to their production, meet or exceed our standards for safety and quality.

Why Don’t You Find a New Manufacturer?
Based on our own decades of experience and consultation over time with others in the industry, there are a very limited number of manufacturers that we believe can meet our high standards.
They are also experiencing ongoing supply chain issues, which you may have noticed at your own local retailers.
Why Are the Canned Dog and Cat Foods Unavailable, Anyway?
Manufacturers across the country have been unable to meet demand as a direct result of the pandemic. For Life's Abundance, starting in 2020 and over the course of many months the number of cans our manufacturer was able to provide dwindled to the point where some months we received none. For a time we were able to continue accepting new orders from customers as we had built up enough safety inventory. However, as we monitored the situation and worked closely with our manufacturer, it became clear that the severe limits to the availability of canned foods would outlast our inventory.
And so, we took the step of making the canned foods unavailable for new purchases. As of late September, 2021, we do not anticipate having any more canned food to sell once our current inventory runs out.
