Explain the caution that's on Agility supplement

The caution about Agility's use with pregnant animals seems unusual, but there's a simple reason for it.

For added transparency for you, and because of our high standards, we've chosen to label our Agility supplement in accordance with National Animal Supplement Council (NASC) labeling guidelines. Because of that standard, the label includes this statement:

Cautions:

Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for

breeding has not been proven.

NASC has requirements above and beyond what you may typically be familiar with from AAFCO, but AAFCO and FDA guidance also still applies.

So, why the caution?

Because Glucosamine is not an FDA/AAFCO-approved ingredient and there have not been adequate studies done on its safe use in pregnant or breeding dogs, NASC requires the caution is included on the label.

Products not labeled to NASC standards are not required to carry this caution.
