Special features by file type

Some file types have additional capabilities in Lingo:

  • AI-powered keywords: JPG, PNG, HEIC, WEBP, and TIFF files can have keywords automatically generated

  • Text extraction (OCR): JPG, PNG, WEBP, and GIF files support text extraction for searchability

  • Direct link eligible: Most image formats, videos, fonts, Lottie, and ZIP files can be shared via direct CDN links

  • Format conversion: Many image formats can be converted to other formats on download (see Converting and resizing assets)
