Targeting group members

To create a campaign with LinkedIn group members, you need to be part of the group you want to target. So, before thinking about crafting this type of campaign make sure you are part of the group in advance.

If you choose this type of campaign source the app will automatically give you the option to select a group you are part of on LinkedIn to target their members.

Select the group of your choice, and that will be it.

NOTE: It's important you are part of the group you want to target before creating this type of campaign. To become part of a Linkedin Group you need to go to Linkedin and write down the keywords you are interested in on the search bar. For example Social Media Marketing.

And then, select the ‘groups’ option.

Here you will see all the groups available with the keyword of your interest. Then, click on Join and you will need to wait until you get accepted.

Once you are accepted you will see l the groups you are part of on the left side of your Linkedin home page and you will also see the group on your audience when selecting LinkedIn group members as your audience.

Targeting people who commented or engaged with specific posts

To target people who commented on reacted to a LinkedIn post, this is what you need to do:

1- Look for the post and copy the post URL

2- Go to LinkedAutomate and copy and paste this URL in the campaign source

3- Customize your campaign

4- click on save and launch it!
