Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a security system that requires an additional method of verifying a user's login credentials. It is a critical step in improving your cybersecurity and securing your data. A large majority of data breaches occur through compromised authentication. We highly encourage the use of MFA to prevent this from occurring.
Liscio supports all major Authenticator apps including:
Google Authenticator
Microsoft Authenticator
Duo
Authy
Auth0
Okta
And more!
Password management programs like 1Pass, LastPass, and NordPass also offer MFA capability. If you do not already use an Authenticator app or program, please download one from the iPhone App Store or Google Play Store, as applicable.
After enabling MFA, log in to Liscio with your email and password. Liscio will ask for a passcode to be entered. The passcode will be found on your Authenticator app on your mobile device, or stored in your Password Manager.
To Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA):
In Liscio, select your name (Profile Settings) in the vertical menu.
Under Security Settings, select Manage.
Select Next.
Download any of the above Authenticator apps from your phone's App Store.
Open the Authenticator app and follow setup prompts.
Use the Authenticator app on your mobile device to scan the barcode in Liscio on your desktop.
Enter in Liscio the Verification Code that is provided in the Authenticator app.
Select Verify.
Select Done.
To Disable Multi-Factor Authentication MFA:
In Liscio, select your name (Profile Settings) in the vertical menu.
Under Security Settings, select Manage.
Under Status, select Disable.
