You may want to create a Task from a message you received or sent to a client. Instead of copying and pasting the information into a new task, you can create one directly from the message.

To Create a Task from an entire Message Thread:
Open the Message you want a Task created from.
Select the Create Task icon in the upper-right corner.
Choose the type of Task you want to create.
If it's a To Do task, choose the Employee you want to assign.
Choose an Account and a Contact you want to assign the task to.
The Subject and Description fields are automatically populated based on the message you selected, but you can edit those as well.
Once done editing, select the Create Task button in the lower-right corner.

To Create a Task from one message in a Message Thread:
Navigate to the specific message in the Message Thread.
Select the Ellipses in the upper-right corner of the message.
Select Create Task.
Choose the type of Task you want to create.
If it's a To Do task, choose the Employee you want to assign.
Choose an Account and a Contact you want to assign the task to.
The Subject and Description fields are automatically populated based on the message you selected, but you can edit those as well.
Once done editing, select the Create Task button in the lower-right corner.
You can then view the task in the Tasks page, or in the In Focus, Timeline and Tasks tab in the Account page.
