What is a Task in Liscio, and why can I only assign the Task to one person?

A Task in Liscio is any request your firm sends to a specific client. Tasks are designed to hold the assignee accountable, so each Task can only be assigned to a single recipient. If you would like to select multiple assignees to a Task, try using the Requests feature!

Why Assign Tasks to One Person?

Assigning a Task to multiple contacts can create confusion about responsibility, so we only allow for Tasks to be sent to one person at a time. For example, if you request last week's payroll information from both the Office Manager and Billing Receptionist at a dental office, each might assume the other will handle it. Our research has found that this can lead to delays or extra follow-up work to get the information on time. Liscio's approach ensures clear accountability, streamlining communication and reducing follow-ups. If you really need to send a Task to multiple people, try using our Requests feature.
