If you are a firm employee creating a contact or an employee in Liscio and receive the error 'Contact Email Already Exists' it is likely there is another Contact in your platform that is assigned to that email. Liscio requires a unique email address for each Contact.
To solve this issue:
1. Navigate to the Contacts page in the Left-Hand Menu.
2. Use the search bar at the top of the list to search for the email address.
Note: If you can't locate the contact they are likely archived. Select the Archive tab, scroll to the bottom of the Files page and page through using the page navigation in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
3. Locate the record that should not be associated with the email.
4. Select the Contact.
Note: Reactivate if the Contact was found in the Archive.
5. Select the ellipses (three dots) in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
6. Select Edit Contact.
7. Replace the Primary email with a non-existing email address (ex. email@[FirmDomain]).
8. Select Update Contact.
9. Select the ellipses (three dots) in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
10. Select Archive Contact.
