Contacts can't be completely deleted. Instead, they can be archived, which removes their access but allows your firm to retain all past communications and records.

Archive a Single Contact:

  1. Select the Contacts page in the Left-Hand Menu.

  2. Use the search bar at the top of the list to search for a specific Contact.

  3. Select the Contact.

  4. Navigate to the Details Tab, and select the ellipses (three dots) on the upper right-hand corner.

  5. Select Archive Contact.

The Contact will now be Archived (Deactivated) and can be found under the Archived tab on the Contacts page.

Note: When a Contact is Archived, all Open Tasks & Requests associated with that Contact will be closed (archived).

Archiving Contacts in Bulk:

  1. Navigate to the Contacts page in the vertical (left-hand) Menu.

  2. Check the checkbox next to each Contact you want to archive.

  3. Select the blue Archive button in the upper-right corner.

  4. Select Yes to confirm.

Note: If you are no longer working with the client, remember to archive the Account also.

To Reactivate a Contact

  1. Select the Contacts page in the vertical menu on the left-hand side of the screen.

  2. Select Archived.

  3. Use the search bar at the top of the list to search for a specific Contact.

  4. Select the Contact you want to reactivate.

  5. Select Details.

  6. Select Reactivate Contact in the upper-right corner.

  7. Select the ellipses (three dots) in the upper-right-hand corner of the screen.

  8. Select Send Invite.

Note: Once the Contact is reactivated, it is best practice to associate it with its related Account.
