Contacts can't be completely deleted. Instead, they can be archived, which removes their access but allows your firm to retain all past communications and records.
β
Archive a Single Contact:
Select the Contacts page in the Left-Hand Menu.
Use the search bar at the top of the list to search for a specific Contact.
Select the Contact.
Navigate to the Details Tab, and select the ellipses (three dots) on the upper right-hand corner.
Select Archive Contact.
The Contact will now be Archived (Deactivated) and can be found under the Archived tab on the Contacts page.
Note: When a Contact is Archived, all Open Tasks & Requests associated with that Contact will be closed (archived).
Archiving Contacts in Bulk:
Navigate to the Contacts page in the vertical (left-hand) Menu.
Check the checkbox next to each Contact you want to archive.
Select the blue Archive button in the upper-right corner.
Select Yes to confirm.
Note: If you are no longer working with the client, remember to archive the Account also.
