Using Liscio Requests, firms can send Smart Tax Organizers directly to their clients, customized from their tax vendor's organizer. Clients can complete these organizers directly within Liscio—the same platform they use to communicate with your firm—eliminating the need for external sites or programs. Liscio streamlines each organizer by using the client's previous year's information, creating a personalized experience.

Printing Organizers

As you import organizers into Liscio, be sure to carefully read the printing instructions for the support tax software below to ensure successful processing:

Importing Organizers

  1. Click on the Smart Tax page in the left-hand menu.

  2. Browse or Drag and Drop the PDF organizers generated from the tax software.

    1. Note: We recommend importing batches of 100 to avoid browser timeouts.

  3. Optional: If you'd like to assign the draft to a different employee for review, click the drop down next to the Begin Upload button and change the owner.

  4. Click the blue Begin Upload button in the bottom-right corner.

  5. When you see the Upload complete, requests generation in progress... confirmation pop-up, click the blue Close button in the bottom-right corner.

  6. Once the organizers have process, they can be found in the Drafts

    1. Note: It make take a few minutes for the uploads to complete processing.

  7. Organizers with manually matched assignees, or auto-matched assignees (based on the Taxpayer's email address), can be sent out in bulk.

    1. Click Bulk Send Preview at the bottom of the page.

  8. For unassigned organizers:

    1. Use the Account search bar to find the correct assignee/client.
      OR

    2. Click on the draft to open it.

    3. Add an Assignee, and then click the blue OK button.

    4. Choose your Due Date.

    5. Click Send.

Once sent, organizers will move to the Open Requests tab where you can use the progress bar to track client responses.
