Sending Smart Tax Organizers in Liscio & Internal Tracking with Karbon
In Karbon, create a template titled Individual Tax Return for Forms 1040 and 1041 (or another template appropriate for your needs).
In Liscio, send clients Smart Tax Organizers. (Full instructions available here).
Open the relevant client record in Karbon.
Select Send Client Request to initiate a documentation request for the client’s upcoming tax work.
The client will receive an email prompting them to log in to Liscio.
Suggested request message to send:
"To begin preparing your individual tax return, we need to collect your up-to-date information through your personalized tax organizer in Liscio. Please log in to Liscio at www.liscio.me using your email address. Open your 2024 organizer, review and complete the required sections, and then select 'Submit' when finished."
Once the client submits the organizer, select Done on the task in Karbon to move the internal process forward.
