🟢 Why Should I Set My Installment Due Dates Before the 25th?

We recommend setting your installment due dates before the 25th of the month to ensure timely processing and maintain your eligibility for splitting rent in the following month. While you can choose any installment date within your service month, setting dates prior to the 25th helps avoid potential delays in splitting next month's rent.

📘 Detailed Explanation

🗓️ Setting Installment Due Dates

You can choose your installment due dates when you split your rent. If you need to adjust dates after splitting, you can do so directly in the app using the Edit Plan option as long as you meet the eligibility conditions.

📅 Important: Setting Up vs. Editing Your Plan

When you first split your rent, you can schedule installments up to 30 days from your split date, even if that falls into the following month. For example, if you split on July 3rd, you could technically set your last installment as late as August 2nd.

However, we don't recommend this. If you ever need to edit that installment, it can only be moved to a date within your current service month. It cannot be rescheduled to a date in the following month. You may also be cutting it close on your 30-day repayment window, which can affect your eligibility for next month.

To keep things flexible and avoid issues, we recommend keeping all installments within the current service month from the start.

⏳ Why Choose Earlier Dates?

ACH payments take 2–3 business days to process. If you select a due date after the 25th, the payment might still be processing when the next rent cycle begins, potentially delaying your ability to split rent for the following month.

Consider holidays when choosing your installment dates. While installment dates cannot be set on weekends or holidays, payments made just before a holiday may still be affected and processed more slowly, impacting your ability to split rent again.

Choosing dates earlier in the month minimizes the risk of processing delays and ensures your rent is covered on time.

📝 If You Need to Change a Due Date

You can edit future unpaid installment dates directly in the Livble app using the Edit Plan option. If the Edit option is not available, your plan is not currently eligible for modification.

✅ Best Practices

  • Set installment dates before the 25th to minimize processing delays.

  • Keep all installments within the current service month to stay flexible if you need to make changes later.

  • Monitor your installment status regularly to ensure your payments are on track and won't affect your ability to split rent the following month.

  • If you need to adjust a date, use the Edit Plan option in your Livble account before the installment is due. Once processing begins, changes can no longer be made.
