If you’re experiencing issues connecting your bank account to Livble, don’t worry! We’ve made some improvements to the process with the new Plaid CRA integration. Here’s how it works and what you can do if you’re facing issues.

Steps to Resolve Bank Connection Issues:

  • Check Your Bank Settings:

Make sure there are no security settings or permissions in your bank account that are preventing third-party access. Some banks have additional security features that may need to be adjusted to allow for connections via Plaid.

  • Ensure Your Bank Account is Eligible:

Livble requires at least one debit-able account to proceed with underwriting. Make sure your account meets this requirement. If you have linked multiple accounts and one of them is eligible, we will still proceed with the valid account, even if others do not meet the criteria.

  • Review Two-Factor Authentication (2FA):

If your bank uses Two-Factor Authentication, ensure it’s properly set up. Banks may block connections if 2FA is not fully verified.

  • Linking Multiple Accounts with Plaid CRA:

With the new Plaid CRA integration, you can now link multiple accounts from different banks in the same session. However, there are a few important things to note:

    • You cannot link multiple logins from the same bank during one session. For example, if you and a partner both have separate Chase accounts with different logins, you can only link one of those accounts during a single session. The second Chase account will need to be linked in a separate session.

    • If you have accounts from different banks (e.g., Chase and Bank of America), you can link both in the same session without issue.

  • Duplicate Account Issues:

If you’re trying to link another account from the same bank but get flagged for a duplicate, note that our system now detects duplicates only if the accounts share the same masked account number. You can connect different accounts from the same bank in separate sessions, as long as the account details are distinct.

  • Follow Plaid’s Troubleshooting Guidelines:
