When you make a payment through Livble, it’s processed via the ACH network. This process typically takes 2–3 business days to settle, but it may take longer depending on your bank and location.

ACH payments usually take 2–3 business days to clear. However, delays can occur based on your bank’s internal processing times or geographic region.
🚫 Why It Matters:
Livble cannot submit rent payments if you still have a payment that’s processing. Submitting your payments on time helps ensure you remain eligible to split rent in future months.
🔄 Can I Cancel or Change a Payment?
You can only update or cancel a payment if it's still marked as “upcoming.”
Once it’s marked as processing, it cannot be changed, stopped, or canceled.
The transaction will simply succeed or fail depending on your bank.
If you need to update an upcoming installment, please contact Livble at least two days in advance so we can help adjust the payment before it’s submitted.
🗓 Important for End-of-Month Installments
If you have an installment due toward the end of the month, that payment must fully clear before you can split rent for the next month.
If you’re worried your final installment won’t clear in time — and you’re able to pay early — consider submitting your payment a few business days ahead of schedule.
💡 Why Payments Fail Even If You Had Money
Even if your account balance looks sufficient, your bank may return a payment with an R01 “Insufficient Funds” code if your available funds dropped below the required amount at the exact moment the debit was processed.
Banks often process transactions in unpredictable orders. Other card charges, pending withdrawals, or temporary holds can reduce your available balance — even when your displayed balance seemed fine. This can cause the payment to return unexpectedly.
To avoid this, keep a small buffer in your account and ensure the full installment amount (plus any fees) stays available until the debit fully clears (2–3 business days).
