Why You Shouldn’t Delete Your Livble Account

Before you consider deleting your Livble account, let us explain why it’s not the best option and why unsubscribing might be a better choice. Deleting your account is a permanent action, meaning you will lose your previous approval status and be unable to create a new Livble account in the future.

Here are some common reasons users delete their accounts and why deletion isn’t the solution:

  1. Bank Account or Payment Issues
If you’re experiencing issues with your linked bank account or payments (like disconnections or errors), deleting your account won’t solve these issues. Instead, try re-linking your bank account through your account settings or reach out to support for troubleshooting.

  2. Error Messages
Encountering an error message, such as “Oops, something went wrong”? Deleting your account won’t resolve this. Most errors can be quickly fixed with the help of our support team. Contact us first before considering account deletion.

Unsubscribing: A Flexible Alternative

If you’re no longer using Livble or don’t need the service right now, unsubscribing from your membership is a flexible solution. It allows you to stop your membership payments while keeping your account intact for future use.

Unsubscribing with an Outstanding Balance:

You can unsubscribe at any time, even if you have an outstanding balance. However, it’s important to note that your balance will still need to be paid off. Auto-collect will continue for any due payments, and you can also make manual payments. Unsubscribed users can still repay any outstanding amounts, but they won’t be able to split rent again until they re-subscribe.

How to Unsubscribe:

Go to your Account Settings in the Livble app, navigate to the Membership page, and follow the steps to unsubscribe. You’ll still be able to add or update your bank accounts and pay off any outstanding balances, but you won’t be able to split rent until you re-subscribe.

Subscription Status and Future Membership Fees:

If you split rent and then unsubscribe within the same month, you’ll still be charged the membership fee for that month since you’ve utilized Livble’s service. However, if you do not split rent the following month, you will not be charged any additional membership fees unless you re-subscribe.

By staying subscribed, you unlock the core features and benefits that help you manage your rent more effectively, including:

  • Split your rent into smaller payments: The primary benefit of being subscribed is the ability to split your rent into manageable installments, which helps you avoid late fees and manage your cash flow.

  • Boost your credit score: Consistently splitting your rent and making on-time payments can help improve your credit score over time.

  • Receive monthly financial tips: Stay informed with our “Split Happens” newsletter, offering helpful financial advice tailored to renters.

  • Get expert help from Livble’s support team: Subscribers have access to our dedicated chat and phone support for personalized assistance. Please note that support is not available to users who unsubscribe.

Keep in mind that unsubscribing will limit your access to these benefits, including the ability to split your rent, but you can always re-subscribe if you need to use the service again.

Deleting Your Livble Account

If you’re sure you want to delete your Livble account, remember this action is permanent and cannot be undone. Deleting your account means you’ll lose access to Livble’s services, including any previous approval status. Additionally, you will not be able to create a new account in the future.

How to Delete Your Account:

Go to the Menu in the upper left corner of the app, select Account Settings, and follow the steps under Delete Account. Once deleted, your account and data are permanently removed from our active systems, except for minimal required data in accordance with compliance regulations.

Important Considerations for Deleting Your Account:

  1. Account Deletion Is Permanent:
Once deleted, you cannot create a new Livble account, and you’ll lose any previous approval status.

  2. Security of Your Data:
Even after deletion, your data is secure. Livble uses encryption to protect your information, and only minimal, required data is retained for compliance purposes.

Final Reminder:

If you’re unsure about deleting your account, we encourage you to consider unsubscribing instead. Unsubscribing allows you to stop membership payments while keeping your account in good standing, without the permanent consequences of account deletion.
