How to Set Up LiveRecover's Post-Purchase Flows

Boost customer engagement and revenue with LiveRecover’s post-purchase messaging, allowing targeted communication after purchases or order deliveries.

How Post-Purchase Messaging Works

Engage customers through:

  • Instant Upsells: Suggest complementary or premium products post-delivery.

  • Replenishment Reminders: Encourage timely reorders of consumables.

  • Re-engagement: Reconnect with customers who haven't made recent purchases.

  • Upsell/Cross-sell: Recommend complementary products based on previous purchases.

Accessing Post-Purchase Flows

  1. Log in to your LiveRecover dashboard.

  2. Click on Flows from the left sidebar menu.

Creating a Post-Purchase Flow

Select Template

  • Click New Flow and choose the appropriate post-purchase template:

    • Instant Upsell

    • Replenishment

    • Re-engagement

    • Upsell / Cross-sell

Configure Audience Segmentation

  • Specify your audience by:

    • Including or excluding customers based on previous product purchases or specific collections.

Set Messaging Delay

  • Determine the time delay for the message delivery. Each template has its own default time delay which is customizable.

Customize Initial Message

  • Dynamic placeholders are automatically available based on the flow template you selected. You can edit the message if needed.

Optional: Choose Discount Settings

  • Select discount type (optional):

    • Percentage off

    • Fixed amount off

    • Free shipping

  • Define the discount value and minimum purchase criteria, if applicable.

Configure Cart Link

Determine what customers see when clicking your message link:

  • Include Items from Previous Order (ideal for replenishments).

  • Include Specific Items (upsell selected products)

  • No Cart (redirect customers to a specific page, such as your homepage or a custom URL). Simply add the link you want to use in the CTA field!

Customize Agent’s Reply

  • Agent replies are prefilled based on the selected flow template and can be edited as needed. You can also manually add a link to your website or landing page if a cart link wasn’t configured.
