Configure Checkout for Compliance in Shopify
Step-by-step instructions on customizing checkout language labels in your Shopify store.
1: Go to you Shopify Admin for your store
2: Click “Settings”
3: Click “Checkout”
4: Scroll down until you see Customer contact method, and select "Email"
5: Scroll to "Customer information", select "Optional" under Shipping address phone number & click "Save"
6: Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Manage checkout language”
7: Go to “Checkout & system”
8: Scroll to Checkout contact and find "Phone label" and "Optional phone label"
Tip: It's quicker to find them by searching the page through CTRL
+ F or Command + F.
9: Type in this language into both text boxes: "Phone- Receive offers and shopping cart reminders via text message"
10: Click the “Save” button
