If you are on Shopify Plus, read this guide to install our checkout extension "QuickSMS Phone Capture". This quick integration will allow you to streamline the phone number collection process during checkout, eliminating the need for customers to scroll, improving your phone number opt-in rate and engagement with LiveRecover.

Configure your Shopify checkout to ensure we can text your customers while adhering to compliance standards.

Configure Checkout for Compliance in Shopify

Step-by-step instructions on customizing checkout language labels in your Shopify store.

1: Go to you Shopify Admin for your store

2: Click “Settings”

3: Click “Checkout”

4: Scroll down until you see Customer contact method, and select "Email"

5: Scroll to "Customer information", select "Optional" under Shipping address phone number & click "Save"

6: Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Manage checkout language”

7: Go to “Checkout & system”

8: Scroll to Checkout contact and find "Phone label".

Tip: It's quicker to find them by searching the page through CTRL

+ F or Command + F.

9: Type in this "Phone label" and "Optional phone label" language into both text boxes: "Phone-receive offers and shopping cart reminders via SMS." and "Msg and data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Text 'STOP' to Stop." to the "Phone tooltip"

11: Click the “Save” button

You're all set! We are ready to start texting your customers.

*Opt-out Process Compliance: You should consult with your legal counsel to ensure that your opt-out process is compliant with applicable law and consistent with industry standards.
