Learn how to delete a household if a duplicate has been created

Overview 

The Household in Loanapp contains information about: 

 - the number of adults
 - the number of dependants (children)
 - age/date of birth of dependants (for some lenders)
 - living expenses of the Household
 - other commitments of the Household (rent, board, child maintenance)

Sometimes when data comes across from your CRM, depending on how you link relationships in the CRM, an extra "household' can be created and you will want to delete it. 

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

To delete a Household, go to the applicant's profile by clicking on Current Situation > Name of your applicant on the left.

Step 2

If Loanapp has created a duplicate household, when you click on the household field the drop-down will list more than one household. Click on the one you want to delete to select it, and then click on the pen icon to the right hand side of the Household field. 

Make sure you scroll to the bottom of the Household Expenses list to see all Categories.

Step 3

This will trigger a pop-up window to appear - expanding an overview of the applicant's household. To delete it, click on Delete at the bottom of that window.

Tick the check box to permanently delete this page and click Delete again. 

And voilà! The Household has been deleted!
