Locai One is designed to go from power-on to a working local AI system in around 15 minutes.
1. Plug in power and network. Locai OS starts automatically and there is nothing to install on the appliance.
2. Choose a model in the Management Portal. You can select a Locai Juno model, another supported open-weight model, or your own weights.
3. Wait for the model to download and initialise. When setup is complete, the appliance displays its local address.
4. Open the Management Portal from a laptop on the same network, or use the pairing option shown by the appliance.
5. Download the Locai App for macOS or Windows directly from your Locai One, sign in, and start using the model.
If the appliance is being used in a restricted or air-gapped environment, follow your organisation’s network policy during setup.
