Using Google Questions and Answers to effectively build out an FAQ, complete with common questions, location specific offerings, and on-brand answers is a consistent recommendation we make for brands and their agencies.

Individual uploads

Publishing a question for a handful of locations can easily be managed within the application. This process allows a question to be posted and answered for individual locations at a time.

Uploading for individual locations:

  1. Go to Manage Locations and select the location you wish to post a question for.

  2. Select the Add a question widget located to the right of the location name.

  3. In the pop-out that appears, write and post your question.

Bulk uploads

Similar to our other Bulk Uploads, Q&A requires a correctly formatted CSV file saved and filed out correctly.

Uploading Q&A in bulk:

  1. Go to Manage Locations, open the Manage Bulk Activity, and select Bulk Upload Q&A.

  2. Download the pre-populated CSV which contains a list of all location IDs.

  3. Remove any locations that will not be receiving Q&A. The remaining location rows should then be assigned both a question and answer.

  4. Once complete, save file as a CSV, and upload.

Monitoring

In effort to maintain a continuous transparency when it comes to monitoring and reporting, we have added the option to receive notices for Google Q&A. These can be sent out at whatever frequency makes the most sense (daily, weekly, or monthly), and can be sent to users both in and outside of the application.

Setup Q&A notification:

  1. Go to Settings, open Report Management, and select New Report.

  2. Fill out required fields, change the report type to Q&A, and set report preferences.

  3. Create report.
