To make the Auto Reply Templates more effect for providing on-brand review responses, we have made available a set of 6 variables that can directly insert content into the review response templates.
This article will specifically focus on how to assign the 3 location-based variables:
{{replyLocationName}} : Friendly location name in the event that the official location name is not ideal for a response
{{replyGeoLocationName}} : Friendly name of the city, state, suburb, or neighborhood of the location
{{signature}} : Signature name or phrase to add to the responses based on the location
How To Assign Variables to a Single Location:
Go to the Manage Locations tab.
Open the detail panel for the location you want to add variables to.
Select the Location details widget (see image below) and select the Auto reply tab.
Select ‘To add details Click Here’
Add Location name, Geo name, and/or Signature, and Save.
Assign Location Variables in Bulk:
In the Manage Location in Bulk dashboard, go to the brown Platform tab and let the sheet load.
Once loaded, using the AR-LocationName, AR-GeoName, and/or the AR-Signature columns, you can assign each of your locations their own custom variable.
Once finished, use the red Update button in the right-hand corner to Save changes.
