Do you track social media comments from Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. ?

TL;DR No. They don't have the data points necessary to aggregate feedback.

The LocalClarity platform is designed to aggregate "structured" customer feedback for multi-location businesses, franchises, chains, member organizations, institutions, and the agencies that serve them.

The key element of that description is the reference to structured feedback that includes a specific set of data, thus allowing clients to aggregate data across platforms to understand performance at the national, regional, state, city, or individual location level.

The minimum data set is:

  • Date

  • Location

  • Reviewer

  • Rating Score

  • Comment

Most consumer comments on Social Media platforms lack the "rating score" required to aggregate and evaluate the feedback. It's for this reason that LocalClarity does not currently aggregate general unstructured commentary on social media platforms.

We would very much like to be able to incorporate Instagram, so we are keeping a close eye on the news coming from the Meta development team.
