Connecting Your Google My Business Account

Follow these steps to connect your GMB account to Localyser:

  1. Navigate to Settings

    • Open your Localyser dashboard.

    • Click on Settings from the left-hand menu.

  2. Access Other Settings

    • Inside Settings, select Other to access additional configurations.

  3. Go to the 3rd Party Login Tab

  4. Add Google Account

    • Click the blue "Add new" button.

    • Select "Google" from the drop-down menu.

    • Click "Connect" to begin the integration process.

  5. Login to Google My Business

    • Follow the on-screen instructions to log into your Google My Business account.

    • Use the email account that has access to all your verified locations and make sure to give Localyser all permissions.

  6. Repeat for Multiple GMB Accounts

    • If you manage multiple GMB accounts, repeat these steps for each one.

  7. Review and Confirm

    • After logging in, you will be redirected to Localyser.

    • The new connection will be displayed along with its expiry date.

Checking Google Connection Status

To verify the status of your Google connections and see if all your locations were successfully linked to your GMB account:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Select "Check Status"

    • Click the "Check Status" button to view connection details.

  3. Understand Connection Statuses

    • Connection Successful: Localyser can fetch reviews and the direct response feature is working.

    • Connected Without Reply: Localyser can fetch reviews, but the direct response feature is not working. This is usually due to a suspension on your GMB listing. To fix this, verify your locations on Google again.

    • Connection Not Successful: Localyser cannot fetch reviews or allow responses. Ensure your GMB account is properly added and that all locations are claimed and verified under the Google my Business account you added.
