Do I need an invitation code to open a Loop wallet?

No. Sign-up is open to everyone, there is no code field any more, and nobody sells codes.

This is the question we are asked most often, so here is the short answer first.

No, you do not need an invitation code. Sign-up is open to everyone, and the sign-up page no longer asks for a code at all.

How to open a wallet

Go to cantonloop.com and choose Sign up. Sign up with your email address, or continue with Google.

Confirm your email when the message arrives, and your wallet is created.

Loop runs in your browser. There is no app to install, no extension, and no download.

If you were given a code earlier

Older guides and older posts mention an invitation code, and some of them are still circulating. You can ignore them. There is nowhere to enter a code now, and you do not need one.

If you already have a wallet

Use Import Wallet on the sign-in page rather than creating a new one. Creating a second account does not give you access to the first wallet, and two wallets cannot be merged afterwards.

Rewards

Your wallet has a Rewards section in Settings. When a reward campaign is running, that is where you will see it.

There is no campaign running at the moment. An earlier one rewarded invitations and has ended, so if somebody tells you that inviting people still earns a reward, they are out of date or they are not from Loop.

If a new campaign opens, it will show up in that section of your wallet. We will not announce one by private message, and we will never ask you to pay anything to take part.

Nobody sells invitation codes

This one matters. Because people still believe a code is required, sellers have appeared who are not selling anything real.

Loop does not sell invitation codes, and we never will. Anyone asking you to pay for a code, for early access, for a whitelist place or for a wallet activation is taking your money for something you do not need in the first place.

We also do not send codes through private messages. If someone contacts you first, on any platform, claiming to be Loop support with a code to offer, that is not us.

Reach Loop through cantonloop.com yourself, typed into the address bar, rather than through a link somebody sent you.

If you are stuck

Message us from this page and tell us which step failed, the email address you are using, the exact error message you saw, and your browser and device. That is usually enough for us to see what is wrong.

Please do not send us passwords, verification codes or your private key. We never need them.
