If you have left your workplace or you don't work, you can register as an individual.
Although some of our challenges feature competition between workplaces, you can absolutely participate if you don't work, work independently, or are retired. 🙂
If you have never been registered with a workplace on Love to Ride, then you don't need to do anything apart from select 'register as an individual' when you first sign up.
If you are currently registered with a workplace but want to leave it, follow these simple steps. 👇
2. Find the panel on the right-hand side that looks something like this:
3. Click on 'Leave workplace' and confirm in the pop-up
If you are your workplace's Champion, you will be asked to allocate a new Champion before leaving.
Note: If you can't see the panel on the right-hand side of your Workplace Profile, you can leave/change your workplace by going to your Rider Profile and clicking on the pencil icon next to your workplace listing (under your name). Then select the pencil icon next to 'Employee' and change your occupation status from the dropdown list.
You can then either join a new workplace or continue to ride without one. If you do happen to ride as a member of a Club/Group then you can join one of those on Love to Ride. Find out more about Clubs/Groups here. If not, keep on riding, and we look forward to seeing you racking up the miles! 🚲
