Referral: Add the Post-Purchase Extension

Add the referral module after your customer has completed their order to encourage them to refer others.

Introduction

Referral is a simple and effective way to attract new customers by encouraging your existing ones to recommend you.

As a reminder, referrers can share a referral link or send a recommendation by email. On mobile, the link can also be shared via SMS.

💡 This module can be added with all Shopify plans.


Activate the Referral Extension

  1. Go to the Communication >Sharing in your Loyoly dashboard.

  2. Click on the redirect button to activate the post-purchase referral widget.

You will then be redirected to the Shopify theme editor, where you can add the module to the order confirmation page (the module is called “loyoly thank you”).
Please note that the module cannot be modified.

⚠️ Important

The module does not appear in the Shopify editor ,this is normal.
It only shows for a logged in customer after completing an order.

To see it in action, place a test order on your store.
