In this article, you can learn more about how to pay a bill in the Lunar app, how to make a payment for a recurring bill, and much more. The process may vary slightly depending on which Lunar account you have, so you can find instructions tailored to Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian accounts.

πŸ‡©πŸ‡° Paying bills with a Danish account

How to pay a bill

  1. Open your Lunar app and click on Menu in the top left corner.

  2. Now select Pay

  3. Now select Pay bill.

  4. Enter Type, Reference + Creditor number, and click Next. If you wish to set it for automatic payment, you can choose to add it to the Payment Service (Betalingsservice).

  5. Enter the amount you need to deposit and click Continue.

  6. You can now add a note to yourself and choose when the bill should be paid. Swipe to the right at the bottom of the screen to complete the payment of your bill.

Your bill will now be paid on the selected payment date!

Scan bill

Do you want to avoid entering your bill manually? We fill in all the details for you when you take a picture of your bill. All you have to do is to approve the payment.

  1. Open your Lunar app and click on Menu in the top left corner

  2. Now select Pay

  3. Now select Scan bill

  4. Take a picture of your bill.

  5. We fill in all the details for you - you just need to approve the payment.


πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ͺ Paying bills with a Swedish account

Here is a step-by-step guide to paying a bill in the app:

  1. Click on the Menu in the top left corner

  2. Click on Pay

  3. Click on Pay bill

  4. Fill in the bankgiro number and OCR or reference.

  5. Enter the amount.

  6. Now you can see an overview of the payment. Review the information to ensure everything is correct.

  7. Here you can choose to add a note for yourself, completely optional of course.

  8. You can also choose to schedule the payment for a future date instead. Click on Date to choose a future date.

  9. Swipe from left to right to confirm, and confirm the payment.

Done! Now you should see a confirmation in the app.

Stop a scheduled payment

You can easily do this in the app. On the home screen, you should see upcoming transactions. Click on your upcoming transaction, select Remove, and confirm to remove the payment. VoilΓ !

Amount Limits

There are limits for payments, including both account-to-account transfers and bankgiro payments, such as paying bills. The limit is 100,000 SEK per payment and 200,000 SEK per day.

Here is a step-by-step guide to paying a bill in the app:

  1. Click on the Menu in the top left corner

  2. Click on Pay

Good to know

  • You can delete your scheduled payment if the actual withdrawal data has not passed yet. Just find the payment on your account overview, click on it, and select Delete.

  • If you are unable to pay your bill yourself, for any reason preventing you from accessing your account, feel free to contact our customer service.
    ​

  • If it's a bill you need to pay every month, you can easily set it for automatic payment via the Payment Service. Just use the PBS-nr., Deb.gr.nr. and Customer number.

  • If you have the Light subscription, a fee of 3 kr. is applied when you pay a bill. You can avoid this by upgrading to Standard, Plus, or Unlimited.
