Use Lyrebird to swiftly send a patient letter directly to the patient via an encrypted email.

Updated over a week ago

Use Lyrebird to email patients a summary of the consult and action items for them to take once they leave the clinic.

How to send a patient letter?

1. Write a Patient Letter by clicking the “Letters” drop-down and selecting “Patient Letter”.

2. Once the Patient Letter has generated, click “Share to patient” in the top right corner. Edit the “Recipient name”, “Patient email address” and their “PIN ACCESS (DDMM)” before clicking “Share to patient”.

The “PIN Access (DDMM)" password protects the PDF that is shared with the patient. The patient can easily access the PDF by entering their pin number. This pin number should be the day and month of their birthday (DDMM).

The Patient Letter will be sent with a Signature. Edit your Signature via the “Profile” tab in the “Settings” page. For more information about editing your signature, click here.
