Important Terms & Definitions
Generation: In the context of MagicSchool is a text response or resource created by AI after a user's input. For example, if a user is using the "Rubric Generator" tool, inputs their requirements for the rubric, then clicks generate - the rubric created by AI as the output would count as one generation.
Input: This is the information you give to the AI, like questions, text, or uploaded documents. It’s what the AI uses to understand what you want.
Output: This is what the AI gives back to you after processing your input. It could be an answer, a suggestion, or an image—anything the AI creates based on what you asked.
Thread: This refers to the ongoing conversation between you and the AI. It keeps track of your messages so the AI can remember what you talked about and respond in a way that makes sense.
