How to Use MagicStudent

Ready to let your students interact with a custom chatbot, get instant feedback on their writing, create a skit, chat with a historical figure, or explore other student-facing tools? It’s time to launch a Student Room!

Follow these simple steps to get started:

  1. Click "Launch to Students"
    (Use the link below or find it in the left-hand panel).

  2. Select "Launch New Room"
    (Located in the upper right-hand corner).

  3. Set Up Your Room
    Choose a room name, select the grade level, and decide how many students you want to invite (you can adjust this later). Click "Next".

  4. Pick Your Tools
    Choose the tools you want to include in the room (you can select multiple instances of the same tool, up to a maximum of 10). Click "Next".

  5. Customize Your Tools
    Click on the tool(s) you want to customize. If you plan to use this customization again, be sure to save it as a template (+ Save As Template). Once you're done customizing, click "Next" and then "Save". Repeat this process for all tools you want to customize.

  6. Click "Launch Room"
    Your room is ready!

  7. Share with Your Students
    Provide them with the Join URL, post the room link in Google Classroom, or share a QR code or join code.

  8. Sit back and watch the magic unfold!
