How to Export a List of Users from Your Organization

Org and Site Admins can now export user information directly from their dashboard. This allows you to view and manage users at scale, identify pending accounts, and ensure your roster is accurate.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Log in to your MagicSchool Admin dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Users.

  3. Click Export Users (top-right corner).

  4. A CSV file will download automatically to your device.

Your exported file will include:

  • User Name

  • Email Address

  • Role (Teacher, Student, Admin)

  • Assigned School(s)

  • Account Status (Active, Pending, Inactive)

Use Cases

  • Identify pending users and send reminders to activate their accounts.

  • Share up-to-date user rosters with IT or HR teams.

  • Audit role assignments and confirm accuracy across schools.

  • Support internal reporting or compliance documentation.

Who can access this feature?

Only Org and Site Admins have permission to export user data.

What format is the export file?

Exports are provided as a .CSV file that can be opened in Excel, Google Sheets, or other spreadsheet tools.

Does the file include student data?

No, this file only contains educator information. All exports follow MagicSchool’s strict privacy and data protection policies.
