How to Customize the Sender Email with Magical Preorder

To send notifications from your own business email, you'll need a free SendGrid account.

Step 1: Connect SendGrid in the App

  1. In the app menu, click Settings.

  2. Scroll down to the Notifications section.

  3. Under Delivery Service, choose SendGrid from the dropdown.

  4. Enter your SendGrid API key.

  5. Fill in your sender name, sender email address, and reply-to email.

  6. Click Save.


How to Set Up a SendGrid Account

  1. Go to sendgrid.com and click Start for Free.

  2. Choose a username and password.

  3. Verify your email and phone number.

  4. Save your recovery code.

  5. Click Finish account setup, then Authenticate domain.

  6. Follow the steps to add the required DNS records.

  7. Verify your DNS settings.


Where to Find Your SendGrid API Key

  1. Log into your SendGrid account.

  2. Go to Settings > API Keys.

  3. Click Create API Key.

  4. Name it, choose permissions, and click Create & View.

  5. Important: Copy the key somewhere safe. You won’t see it again.
