Why Isn’t the Availability Date Showing on My Website with Preorder Pro + Back in Stock?

For users of Preorder Pro + Back in Stock

If the availability date isn’t showing on your storefront, here are a few things to check:

  1. Date set on product, not variant:
    Make sure you’ve added the date to the correct variant, not just the main product. Use the dropdown arrow next to the product to set the date for each variant, then click Save.

  2. Missing {date} placeholder in settings:
    If you’ve removed {date} from the message field in your settings, the date won’t display. Add {date} back into the message template and click Save.

  3. Date is in the past:
    If the date you set is earlier than today, it won’t appear. Choose a future date instead.

  4. Theme compatibility issue:
    If none of the above fixes work, your Shopify theme may not fully support the app. Contact the Magical Apps team—we’ll help you get everything set up properly.
